区分生理年龄与英文年龄
廖彩杏老师在书中认为：
生理年龄与英文年龄是不一样的，孩子的年龄或许是五岁、十岁，但若无法用流利的英文掌握一本适合三岁幼儿阅读的英文童书的内容，我会认为他们的英文年龄都是零岁。既然英文年龄是零岁，那就得按部就班、循序渐进，从最基本的开始，请他们把自己当初嗷嗷待哺的「英文婴儿」，把英语当成母语来学。
同样一个八岁的孩子，一个没有接触英文的经验，另一个听英文故事已经听了三年，那么他们的英文年龄就是不同的，适合他们选读的英文故事也完全不同。这个我很赞同。
英文年龄跟孩子具体几岁，其实并没有太大的关系。如果只是按学校的进度学习，没有在家里持续地听英文故事，应该是从零基础开始。
因为学校里的英语，只是学了一些简单的单词或是短句，即使考试考满分，也还是英语听力、口语不行，更没有能力进行英语课外书籍的阅读。
所以，即使生理年龄超过8岁，依然可以参考廖彩杏的《用有声书轻松听出英语力》，进行英文启蒙。
小编认为，廖彩杏书单比较适合稍大的孩子。
